Silver Thyme

Silver Thyme (Thymus vulgaris 'Silver Edge') is an ornamental perennial and culinary herb. These plants produce tiny green leaves variegated with silver and white. In the summer, you may see tiny lilac-pink flowers appear in clusters on Silver Thyme. This plant forms a low, shrubby, evergreen shape that will become drought-tolerant once established.

Silver Thyme blooms from mid to late summer, and the best way for it to thrive during its growing season is to be pruned in early spring. Silver Thyme is a selection of Lemon Thyme, and its exceptional fragrance and flavor are wonderful in cooking.
